Show subtasks on the main tasks screen

Clickup has a nice option to display subtasks on the task list screen.

Currently with ST we have to open a task to see the subtasks.
Seeing subtasks indented from the main task is even more useful when we have subtasks of subtasks.

Example screenshot below.

Looking forward to have this option available soon. It makes it easier to categorize task with subtasks and an option to seeing them on the main tasks is twice helpful.

Under this new sorting option for the list view, you would see all the parent tasks with their respective subtasks in an indented list under it. Though in this new sorted view, we would not see the sections but still be able to see the custom fields assigned. This is because a parent task’s subtasks are often in multiple sections.

In this example, the task labeled P would be the parent task. The tasks labeled S1 are direct subtasks of P. S2 would be the subtask of S1 (sub subtask).

Subtasks should be also listed in the main tasks list.

This is something we have thought about earlier. However, it involves a very complex maneuvering causing degradation of performance as of now. This is something we may revisit in future.

Thanks Shyamal, seems to be working for Manual Task input.
I tried import from MS Project and the indent and arrangement are not in place.

In V2 of SmartTask subtasks would be visible in the list view of the project. More details here - Subtasks in tasklist view
