Due to the way V1 was designed, it limited users to only have upto 4 custom fields in the tasklist view.
With the new horizontal scroll in V2, we would now be able to have upto 60 columns in the tasklist view.
You can decide which columns to hide / un-hide. You can also add / remove custom fields from the list view.
