Formatting pop when select text in Description

https://guide.smarttask.io/fundamentals/task/task-description says that if text is selected, a pop-over with formatting actions should show up. That pop-up doesn’t come up for me (latest Google Chrome, Windows 10 all updates).

It’s a big problem with a long text description because I have to scroll all the way down in order to see the formatting buttons.

Same. It’s down at the bottom, but that means a lot of scrolling down to the buttons and back up to the next section you want to format.

Is there any chance this will change?
