Occasionally a sub-task involves more work than I expected so I want to convert it to a task.
Occasionally a task involves less work than I expected so I want to convert it to a sub-task.
Currently the only way to do this is to delete the task / sub-task and then create a replacement sub-task / task.
Thanks
Hi,
Right now, we can create a subtask from within tasks. This is very useful.
What I am suggesting is that an existing Task, have the ability to be placed as a subtask of ANOTHER task.
As an example. Lets say I create a task “Website Assets”. And then I populate it with other subtasks…with attachments and all.
Then I realise that this is actually a part of a larger effort that the team is undertaking, which is a task known as “Website Revamp”.
It would be great to take “Website Assets” and make it a subtask OF “Website Revamp”.
This is my view would be a wonderful ability which provides SmartTask an immense amount of flexibility.
Hope this is in the roadmap somewhere…
Best Regards,
Jeffrey
